As Senior Director of Wine Production for Biltmore Wines, Jeff Plack oversees wine production operations and beverage expansion for Biltmore. Having spent fourteen years as a brand ambassador, storytelling has been a core focus area of his work. His passion for Biltmore helps to stimulate a wine culture and build brand loyalty within the 8,000 acres and beyond. As an adjunct facilitator for the Biltmore Center for Professional Development, Jeff has spoken around the country sharing stories and insights of Biltmore to its past and future guests, as well as professionals ranging from the N.C. Chamber of Commerce, Berkshire Hathaway, Newell Rubbermaid, and peers in the wine and beverage industry.
Jeff holds a BA and a MBA with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, as well as several industry awards and recognitions.
Jeff’s infatuation with the wine industry began in college, but it was not until the last decade that he pursued a career path with wine at its core. He is a lover of his home state of N.C. and is known to recite the North Carolina State Toast to begin many of his events. Jeff lives a stone’s throw from Biltmore with his beautiful wife and three children. He also believes Biltmore Reserve North Carolina Chardonnay is the perfect pairing with Sunday brunch!
